Best Package Forwarding Service for US Shopping? Compare Shipito, Stackry and MyUS

This is an editorial comparison of consumer shopping parcel forwarding from the United States, not virtual-mail scanning, business fulfillment or luggage shipping. We inspected provider policies published by Shipito, Stackry and MyUS on October 22, 2026. Those sources establish service structures; they do not establish who has the cheapest live carrier rate for your shipment. Compare four options before choosing a forwarder

Decision 1: one low-cost order or multiple orders?

Suppose you want one paperback, accessory or small garment. A forwarder adds a second transport leg plus handling and possibly another returns leg. Even when a provider’s account is free, its receiving and international shipping charges can overwhelm the retail bargain. Check the retailer’s own shipping quote first. If it does not serve your destination, compare no-subscription Shipito, Stackry and MyUS routes rather than paying a membership automatically.

Now suppose three different US stores dispatch three parcels across a two-week window. Shipito Free’s 7-day standard storage may be too short to wait for the slowest parcel; Shipito Premium’s standard 45-day allowance, Stackry’s 45 days or MyUS’ advertised 14/30-day windows may change the decision. Storage eligibility also depends on individual arrival times. Shipito’s terms state that combining packages does not restart the oldest storage clock.

Decision 2: do you need consolidation, or just forwarding?

Consolidation can reduce the number of international shipments, but it comes with per-package fees, repacking choices and a less predictable final box size. Shipito says its final consolidated shipping quote cannot be determined until the service is complete. Stackry posts separate rates for consolidation and repacking. MyUS advertises consolidation in its paid plan and, subject to the conflicting FAQ noted above, in its free plan for a fee.

Do not assume combining packages saves money because a website advertises savings “up to” a certain percentage. Couriers may bill on chargeable dimensional rather than actual weight; fragile packaging can also make a combined carton bulkier. The fair question is whether separate final shipping totals exceed the combined final shipping total plus consolidation, packing and storage costs.

Decision 3: restrictions and responsibility can overrule price

A retailer may reject warehouse addresses, and a carrier may reject a category of goods on the intended route. Before buying anything with a battery, aerosol, liquid, food ingredient or other regulated component, check the particular item’s shipping eligibility with the forwarder, the actual carrier and your destination’s authorities. Start with Shipito’s country-dependent restricted-item guidance if considering that service. A dropdown on a help page is not legal clearance for every destination.

Review responsibility for incorrect declarations, loss, returns and insurance. Shipito separates delivery-loss cover from damage cover, and not all service methods support insurance. A quoted low carrier fee can be a poor fit when the item would be difficult to replace or return. International duties and taxes must be checked for the specific destination; Shipito explicitly assigns these to customers.

How to obtain a fair, same-basket comparison

1. Freeze the basket: same retailer, SKU, quantity, declared value, and destination postal code for every comparison.
2. Record realistic packaging: weight plus length, width and height; run both a likely standalone shipment and a possible consolidated box where applicable.
3. Check route eligibility: country, postal code, warehouse, permitted goods, insurance and carrier availability.
4. Separate costs: US retailer checkout charges; account and receiving charges; consolidation/repack charges; international shipping; taxes, duties and any collection fees.
5. Match service levels: insured vs uninsured, economy vs express, tracking available vs unavailable, estimated versus final quote.
6. Compare return exposure: retailer acceptance, reverse shipment, photo proof, fees and potential customs complexity.

Use the resulting numbers to pick the provider. This article cannot declare a cheapest service for an unspecified shipment, and a calculator preview is not a confirmed final carrier price.

Useful shortlists by shopping pattern

• One uncomplicated item: direct retailer international shipping first; if unavailable, compare the free plans and all-in shipping charges.
• Orders arriving across several weeks: favor a sufficient verified free-storage period and workable consolidation flow; Stackry, Shipito Premium and MyUS Premium deserve consideration on those criteria, but do not ignore subscription or shipment fees.
• Frequent parcels clustered within one month: compare monthly memberships against per-parcel savings and cancellation obligations; shipping rates can still reverse the result.
• High-value or restricted contents: choose only after checking permitted carriers, documentation, inspection and cover. An apparently cheap forwarder that cannot carry the item is not a viable option.

What independent customer evidence adds

Shipito customer reviews include both efficient-processing reports and complaints about shipping cost or initial estimate accuracy. The BBB complaint record adds concrete situations involving billing and delivery disputes. Such testimony is useful for framing questions to customer service; it is not a controlled, apples-to-apples performance study of Shipito, Stackry and MyUS, so we do not award invented reliability points.
